COME BACK FOR THE DANCE

This is the question I ask a thousand times,
A million answers is not all I want
Why: tell me why had you to depart?
Leaving me here lonely and Brocken apart
Every time I walk along the busy streets
Every face; every smile, I seems to meet
It becomes my deepest wish, that it could be thee
And if we’ll never meet again, promise to be in the air I breathe
Though I still believe you are somewhere watching me
But you are so silent, could I here you speak?
Just a single smile, with a single word is all I need
The melodic strains of the strings, n rhythmical beats of the drums
Harming to the melodies, of the sweet music, we’d listen to
When you smile and I’d smile along; and frown along with me
As you danced along to the songs on your heels
Swiftly, yet briskly you’d dance and dance
The melodies harm along, with no queen for the dance
Am standing here alone, under the flooding eyes
I’ve lost the tempo, with no hands to hold
All hearts are cold, no joy in the fold,
You are watching somewhere, this I know
It’s my time to dance, what I learnt with bold
Watch me try it, with tears that flow
COME BACK NORAH, COME BACK FOR ONE MORE DANCE
